Wide ivory panels run along the left and right edges, giving the piece a framed, graphic quality that feels considered and strong.
The horizontal stripe is one of the oldest forms in Amazigh flatweave tradition, drawn from the layered horizons of the Moroccan landscape, mountains meeting sky, plateau meeting plain. The dot accents woven into the ivory band are a quiet mark left by the weaver, like a signature worked into the rhythm of the piece. Together the elements reflect the Berber practice of dividing space with intention, each section of the rug as deliberate as the walls of a village built to last. Fringe with black dot detail finishes both ends.
