Each diamond is split into two tones, giving every shape its own character. The result is joyful and considered, playful without being loud.
The diamond is one of the oldest forms in Amazigh weaving, drawn from the mountain peaks of the Atlas range that have defined the Berber visual landscape for centuries. Here the form is repeated across the field in an all-over pattern, each shape uniquely colored, a nod to the patchwork of cultivated fields and sun-baked earth of the Moroccan countryside seen from above.
