A bold black border frames all four edges, structured and clean, giving the piece a strong graphic finish. The close-up images reveal a dense, luxurious pile with exceptional construction quality, the back of the rug showing the precision of the hand-knotted technique.
The scattered symbols across the field draw from the ancient Tifinagh script and visual language of the Amazigh people, marks that Berber weavers have embedded in textiles for generations, each one a trace of identity, protection, and communal memory. The X and cross forms draw from the crossroads of mountain paths where Berber tribes gathered to trade and share stories across the Atlas region.
