This is a white and orange Beni Ourain tufted rug, made by hand in our workshop in Morocco. Fine lines sweep diagonally across a warm white plush field, meeting at a central vertical axis to form large mirrored chevron shapes that radiate outward toward every edge. A small diamond forms naturally at the point where the two sets of lines converge at the center, anchoring the entire composition. A clean orange binding runs along both side edges, and braided ivory fringe finishes both ends, giving the piece a structured and polished finish. The mirrored chevron draws from the rivers and seasonal streams that wind through the Atlas Mountains, lines of movement and life running through the Berber landscape from one community to the next. The symmetrical composition, two sets of diagonal lines meeting at a central axis, reflects the Berber understanding of balance, the landscape seen from both sides of the mountain, two halves of the same world held in harmony. The white field keeps the composition open and airy while the orange edge brings warmth and definition to the entire piece without competing with the pattern.
Why you'll love it:
- Authentic Moroccan tufted rug, handmade by Berber artisans in our workshop in Morocco
- Plush pile, 100% natural wool, no synthetics, no machine finishing
- White field with mirrored chevron pattern, orange edge binding, and braided ivory fringe
- Custom sizes available, woven to order in 3 to 5 weeks.
- Ships worldwide in 4 to 7 business days.

Made by hand in our Moroccan workshop, every tuft placed with care and intention. No synthetic materials, no shortcuts. Natural wool softens with use, becoming more itself the longer it is lived with.Pairs beautifully with warm wood, linen, and natural textures. The orange edge adds just enough color to anchor the piece in a warm, collected interior.Slight color variation is natural in hand-dyed wool. Questions are always welcome.
